STORY
Lori Lewis has straight As, a comfy student council position, (mostly) supportive friends, and doting parents. No girl in Seaview High could ask for more.
She wants a change, though. Some excitement. Maybe a new boyfriend wouldn't hurt.
Resigned to the monotony of her responsibilities in this tiny coastal town, she bumps into a stranger. Everyone knows him as Seaview's punk.
His name is Taylor Rose.
Could the dicey rumors about him be true? Or is he the change she needs? Could he hold the keys to the excitement she yearns for?

This was a wonderful demo! I enjoyed all the friendship shenanigans, the music, and the nostalgic feel of the story. The fact that the sprites had so many poses kept things less static as well. Keep up the good work!! :D
While writing this review I just noticed this is a demo version, when the whole thing comes out I'll make sure to try it again!

Honestly. I can't decide which character is the best because love them and I want to hug them all 🥺❤️ but... Maybe Lori got a bigger piece of my heart... I love her 😫❤️
I loved the variety of sprites and the expression of each character so much. The many side images made the game so dynamic and fun. I love it!
The story is extremely captivating and jovial. I found myself smiling so much at Lori and Cody conversation on the phone 🥰 and omg the last scene with Taylor almost made my heart explode!! 😭❤️❤️
The writing is beautiful and I loved the details and the colors in the every background. Everything about this game has so much personality and love!!

We had a lot of fun writing this game too, remembering high school, and how our classmates generally acted. We did take the approach of being tongue and cheek about a lot of things and how messy teenagers tend to be in that stage of their life. A lot of laughter involved in the writing process for sure.

I've never been much of a visual novel person, so keep that in mind when I say I really enjoy this game. The characters are all fun and interesting, not to mention the fact that it gets some good laughs out of me at times. I really appreciate how natural they all feel!

I really enjoyed playing the demo, I loved how animated the sprites looked with all the different poses. the dialogue was fun and engaging. and the scene in the library...so adorkable. looking forward to reading more <3

-11/10 i hate lori despite making her decisions for her and she and cody deserve each other
jk but otherwise honestly really loved playing this with you guys! <3 solid characterization, also really loved how the art just gave that nice nostalgic vibe with the blurs and roughness; felt like i was a high schooler again. music was also really good in helping set the mood, and also appreciated how relatable it felt through cringe and thin.
but yea so proud!!!! loved the demo and can’t wait to see more!

the pains of being a fast reader is that you get through the whole demo all too quickly and then start pining for more like a highschooler and her first crush. which is probably why i'm here.
ANYWAAAAY. loved the demo so far!! very much adored the music especially, made me really get into the mood. i'm excited to see more of it in the future and keep up with its development!!
